Trinity River Audubon Center
Project: Water Table
Location: Dallas, TX
Installed: August 2008
Visitors of the Trinity River Audubon Center are able to view and interact with two flooding river models. One table includes a clock which counts down to the moment when a city model will "flood", creating a realistic representation of how flooding occurs. The second table is filled with sand, so visitors can create their own river. By digging in the sand and turning on the faucet, they can create their own river and watch erosion at work!
