Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
Project: Mysteries of the Marsh
Location: Chicago, IL
Installed: October 2004
Visitors of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum can walk through the Mysteries of the Marsh exhibit to gain insight into the hazards endangered species of the local wetlands face and the ways people can help. A variety of interactives are included in the exhibit that allow visitors to smell the difference between healthy and unhealthy wetlands, observe the difference of creatures affected by fertilizers, and watch the difference in water flow between a man-made and natural wetland landscape.
